The number of sessions depends on the duration and severity of complaints. In our office we utilize Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), it is a method of analysis and protocols based on research to give proven and repeatable outcomes to the person's specific needs. All care is based on the individual's test results, history, and x-rays.

There is no one size fits all, each person is individually addressed and based on the tests, history and medications or condition, this is considered when providing a care program.  There are also monthly exams in order to address progress and any modification to care or referral to get the care for the person with specific concerns.

Chiropractic Care cost depends on test results and what protocols are needed to get desired results in the individual person.

Why should you choose your office?

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

Yes Chiropractic Care is very safe as reflected in our medical malpractice amount which is based on risk of injury.

Why do adjustments sometimes make a popping sound?

Chiropractic adjustments can make popping sounds as there is a cavitation of a joint and there is a release of pressure from an inflamed joint.

Are all patients adjusted the same way?

Not in my office, we use CBP protocols and the adjustments are care are dependent on the injuries and rehab required to restore normal function. Do we use techniques that we prefer? Yes. I know over 15 techniques that allow me to address a person based on need, Activator, Manual, Diversified, Arthrostim, Thompson, Drop, Pierce, and so on.

Will a chiropractic adjustment completely remove back pain?

Again we do not treat pain, we are looking for nerve impingement and are where there is nerve involvement, depending on the injury there may be some that are permanent injuries, such as herniations or degenerative joints. We do have people that get that miracle, but your life should not be addressed as a lottery ticket as people who often win end up losing the long game and are in far worse situations than before they won the lottery. Health is a lifestyle, not a destination.

Will I be required to remove my clothing at my appointment?

During the initial evaluation and during x-rays yes. You will be provided a gown to wear.

Is chiropractic treatment appropriate for children?

Yes, it is safe and appropriate for children. More and more case studies are finding pediatric Chiropractic care is vital to your child’s health and wellbeing.

It is absolutely safe for children to be checked and adjusted when necessary.  So much so that parents often report that their child gets sick less often, focuses better and performs better at school and sports.

What type of education and training do chiropractors have?

Chiropractors typically have 4 years of undergraduate studies, and 4 years of Chiropractic School with internship and national and local state testing. Also, such as in Florida we are required to have 40 continuing education credit hours every 2 years for continued licensure. Our training is very similar to the training of medical doctors except our focus is on natural methods of care without the use of drugs and surgery. The focus is primarily on what makes a person healthy and healing.

How Does Chiropractic Care Help?

Chiropractic helps without the use of drugs or surgery. We detect and correct interference of communication between the brain and body, thus allowing the recuperative powers to restore optimal function.

I Didn't Hear A Sound. Does That Mean The Adjustment Didn't Work?

The click or sound one hears with the adjustment or lack there of does not mean you have been or have not been corrected; it is a side effect of the joint as one releases a build up of pressure.

Can you help with Scoliosis?

Our office focuses on Scoliosis and Scoliosis Bracing.  We work in collaboration with your Orthopedic Doctor with scoliosis.  We have specific care that meets the need of a growing child in their self esteem and help them continue to enjoy their activities.  Our care also provides the much-needed pain relief often attributed to adult scoliosis.  We also have the “Scolibrace” which is documented to prevent over 70% of scoliosis surgeries.  The brace is a 3-D over-corrective brace which helps de-rotate and reduce the curvatures of the spine.
